2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Custom GT Model Line Carrera RS 2.7
The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS made its public debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, along with a special model customized by GT Model Line and Style Porsche that pays tribute to the 1972 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Its body finished in non-metallic white with key areas given Python Green accents in direct reference to the color configuration offered on the first 911 RS model.

Does the rear look slightly different too? That’s probably because it they emphasize the green-on-white theme by eliminating the red color from the rear taillights and third brake light. Plus, the side plates on the left and right ends of the large rear wing are finished in white with Python Green RS logos. Power still comes from the standard naturally-aspirated 4.0L boxer six-cylinder engine producing 518 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed PDK transmission. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but it will most certainly be a limited edition model.

America is the second home of the 911 and a special tribute exclusive to the U.S. is the perfect way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7. So many of us idolized the original 1972 car. We want to create a special experience that combines exclusive options on the new GT3 RS with a one-of-a-kind list of accompanying items. Together, it will be an exciting and individual tribute to the RS lineage,” said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America Inc.
