2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz Electric Bus Reveal
Finally, after 20-years, the 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz microbus is returning to the US market. This all-electric transporter has a 127.5 inch wheelbase and can seat up to seven in a 2-3-2 layout, complete with rear seats that can fold down for extra space. The base model comes with a single electric drive motor that makes 286 hp, enabling it to hit 62 mph in 7.9-seconds.



An all-wheel drive, dual electric motor version (GTX) with an output of 339 hp has been announced for 2024, and it can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.4 seconds. Inside, you’ll find a head-up display, an upgraded next-generation infotainment system, a newly designed high-tech panoramic sunroof with smart glass that can be changed from transparent to opaque, air-conditioned seats and an illuminated Volkswagen logo up front. Deliveries are set to begin next year, with pricing yet to be announced.
