We have seen the future of auto rickshaws, and they look like the futuristic Hyundai E3W concept. This vehicle was unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi, complete with a sloped windshield makes the E3W far safer than a standard rickshaw, while the longer wheelbase gives passengers more space.
Rain could be an issue for auto rickshaw drivers at times, so that’s why the E3W boasts a height-adjustable body that lets the driver raise the passenger compartment to drive through deep water without getting the cabin wet. Technical specifications have not yet been revealed, but we’re sure a single electric motor should be more than powerful enough to get around the city.
