Liberty Walk Chevy Corvette C8 Stingray
A Chevrolet Corvette, already a showstopper with its sleek lines, has been reimagined by Japan’s Liberty Walk. This extremely aggressive C8 Stingray is set for display at the Misawa Air Base air fest on September 9, 2025.

Its rear wheel arches, widened with bolt-on flares, give the car a muscular stance. Up front, the arches blend into the body, while a big chin spoiler juts out, grounding the car visually. Side skirts extend low, lengthening the silhouette, and a massive rear wing towers over the back end. Even the diffuser, partially visible in photos shared by Liberty Walk’s founder, looks oversized.

As for the suspension, it’s been overhauled with adjustable air springs so the car can hug the ground or rise for practicality. New wheels and tires from the aftermarket fill the widened arches with precision. The exterior has a military theme, with decals—some red for contrast—that nod to the air base event.

The 6.2-liter V8 engine, likely untouched, still puts out 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque if equipped with the optional sports exhaust or Z51 Performance Package. That’s enough to get the Stingray from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds, top speed 194 mph.

Liberty Walk is famous for their widebody kits on supercars like Lamborghinis as well as Ferraris, and they’ve brought that expertise to the Corvette with a respect for the American original. The bolt-on flares, giant wing, and the low stance are all instantly recognizable to anyone who’s seen their work.
