Activision released the Season Four update for Modern Warfare, including Warzone, yesterday, and it’s one of the best yet, as it fundamentally changes the battle in Verdansk. Why? Verdansk can now hold up to 200 players in Battle Royale Quads, or in other words, fifty Quads of Operators are able to fight each other and the encroaching circle collapse.
Activision’s Call of Duty: Warzone, a free-to-play battle royale game within Modern Warfare, has just set a new player milestone of 50 million players one month after its launch. It soared to over 6 million players in the first 24 hours alone before reaching 15 million in a few days. Ever since then, it’s gained over one million players per day.
