Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro was announced last week, but some have been wondering when we’ll see a folding version of their flagship smartphone. Industrial designer Michal Dufka couldn’t wait any longer, and this folding iPhone 14 Pro concept is what he came up with, complete with a rear OLED display right next to the triple camera module.
Apple revealed the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus at their ‘Far Out’ event yesterday, with both models powered by the A15 Bionic chip. Just like the Pro models, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus boast Crash Detection as well as Emergency SOS via satellite. You also get incredible battery life and super-fast 5G connectivity.
We’re just 9-days away from Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event where the iPhone 14 is expected to be revealed, but apparently, there are prototype units out in the wild already. One such prototype appears to be in a new color-shifting purple color. What we do know is that the iPhone 14 will be offered in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display sizes.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are set to be revealed this fall (Sept. 13), but various leaks have provided us with a pretty good idea about what the handsets could look like. What stands out most is the notch being replaced with a pill-shaped housing for Face ID and the other sensors, along with a hole punch camera cutout.
