Inventor Riz Nwosu has wanted a Tesla Cybertruck since it was unveiled in 2019, and fast forward to the end of 2021, he unveiled a functional prototype. Unfortunately, Tesla trademarked the name he wanted to use, “CYBERBACKPACK”, a few months later.
So, what happened next? Well, Riz contacted Tesla and briefly took his CYBERBACKPACK website down. Fortunately, it went back up shortly after with a few added words about the USPTO filing. This could either mean Tesla agreed to a collaboration with Riz or just purchased the rights to his idea. Whatever the case may be, if or when this product goes live on the actual Tesla website, it will be sure to sell out within minutes.

Anyone who knows me would know that I am a huge fan of Tesla. I just don’t talk the talk, I also walk the walk. I have been a Tesla owner since 2016 and all the cars in my household are Teslas, even my kid drives a Tesla,” said Riz in a Linkedin post.
