Tesla Cybertruck Release Candidate (RC) Prototypes Off-Road Testing
A pair of Tesla Cybertruck Release Candidate (RC) prototypes were spotted off-road testing at Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) in Northern California. These were apparently driven or transported from Giga Texas ahead of the first deliveries, which may begin as soon as October.

What really stood out to David Tapley, an off-road enthusiast, was the Cybertruck’s self-leveling air suspension, which enabled it to go from a very low to a high clearance when necessary. When not going off-roading, owners can make use of the on-board power inverters that supply both 120 and 240-volt electricity, enabling one to connect power tools without a portable generator. There should eventually be an option to add a solar roof option to add 15 mi (24 km) of range per day. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when or if the Cyberquad will go on sale.
