Snapchat has just launched several new Lenses to bring awareness to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. Using the the Snapchat camera, users can scan 23 international currency (like a Bank of England note, US dollar, etc.) notes across 33 countries to activate an AR visualization of how donations support the World Health Organization’s immediate response efforts to track the spread of COVID-19.



This visualization will also ensure patients to get the care they need and provide front-line health workers with critical supplies, when Snapchat users donate and encourage their friends to do the same by sending Snaps of the experience. Currently, over 445 Discover Stories or Shows have been produced on the coronavirus, while over 68-million Snapchat users worldwide have this content through the app.
