Electric Ford F-150 Lightning Monster Truck
Halloween 2023 may be over, but that didn’t stop Ford Product Design Director Ryan McManus from turning his all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning into a monster truck, called Dr. Frunkenstein. This mod utilizes Pro Power Onboard, which basically turns the truck into a mobile generator.

In addition to Pro Power Onboard, Dr. Frunkenstein also made use of the available outlets in the pickup’s Mega Power Frunk, which has a TV that shows an “otherworldly” video loop of swirling mist and a red lightning storm. There are even lighting effects on the underbody of the truck that flickers along to the music being played inside the truck.

The thing I loved about it was that (the truck) basically became a canvas for creativity. I knew I could do a lot of different things I wouldn’t be able to do if I just opened the trunk (of another vehicle). It’s the platform of the truck that just allows that ability,” said Ryan McManus, Ford Product Design Director.
