Alfa Romeo b. Aerodinamica Concept
Valerio Vessella shaped this vision while working at GAC Advanced Design Milan. He shared the renders through an Instagram account focused on car design trends, and they quickly caught attention for good reason. The result is a compact two-door sports car that revives Alfa Romeo’s long tradition of expressive, driver-focused machines without any official backing from the brand itself.


Long hoods really shape the profile here, as the interior is tucked back a bit, doing the typical sports car trick of making you think this car will be a lot of fun to drive, with responsive handling and all that. The lines along the sides are really clean and basic; no hassle, just smooth. As you examine the car, your gaze glides smoothly from front to back. The stance remains extremely low to the ground, but the wheels are positioned in a way that simply feels natural.

Up front, they’ve toned down the typical Alfa shield. They’ve made the nose look much smoother and more modern, almost… I do not know, slick. Slim lighting elements will sit either side of the nose to keep the car identifiable as an Alfa while also giving it a sleek, aerodynamic appearance. It’s a design concept that some prospective electric vehicles are utilizing to make their faces more efficient while still standing out as unique.

At the back, things get a lot bolder, with a large tail portion sticking out to give the car some visual weight without making it look thick. The bodywork’s division into zones is a wonderful touch, as are the triple-stacked elements toward the back, which are reminiscent of traditional air intakes. Even though the car is essentially a study for an electric vehicle, this element keeps the car feeling sporty, and it’s a lovely touch that also makes the car appear to be able to be driven on today’s roads rather than just a futuristic show car.

The study’s name is b. Aerodinamica is a tribute to Alfa’s famed BAT experiments from the 1950s, such as Bertone’s, which kept drag down to ridiculous levels for the time. Those cars demonstrated that by properly shaping a car, you can achieve a significant increase in speed and stability. This automobile has the same concept, but it’s more about making it useful on today’s roads than just being a showpiece.

People have noticed that this Alfa has a lot of similarities with Jaguar’s planned electric grand tourer. They’re both about smooth, clean proportions that feel nice on an electric car, but the Jaguar appears like it’s trying to be radical – all sleek and futuristic – and the Alfa has a style that seems more like a sports car, a little more timeless.
