John Davies Guinness World Record Dragged Motorcycle
John Davies, the current UK stunt champion, has set a new Guinness World Record for being dragged behind a motorcycle. More specifically, being dragged by a Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX bike on a runway at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire, England.

A modified thumb-controlled throttle allowed him to accelerate the bike up to an impressive 159.522 mph while being dragged. This beat out a previous record set by Gary Rothewell of Liverpool back in 1999 when his bike achieved a top speed of 156.3 mph. Traveling at those speeds on racing boots isn’t ideal, and that’s why he also wore specially crafted titanium “skis” to protect his feet.
