The D-Fly Dragonfly is touted as the “world’s first hyperscooter,” and what makes it so? First off, the design is supposed to evoke the look as well as feel of a supercar or luxury sedan, starting with its carbon fiber, aerospace-grade aluminum and carbon-fiber-reinforced paulownia wood chassis. Power comes from dual front motors that produce 1,800 watts to each wheel, enabling it to hit a top speed of 38 mph with a range of 11-28 miles, depending on the battery pack.
