German tuners Novitec are back at it again with the Maserati MC20, boosting its power output to 701 hp and 603 lb-ft of torque with a special module that can easily be plugged in. This means the supercar can now hit 62 mph in a mere 2.8-seconds, while topping out at over 202 mph.
German tuner Novitec is known for their sleek supercar builds, but the Maserati Levante caught their eye, and the Esteso V2 was the result. Power comes from a Ferrari-sourced 3.8L twin-turbo V8 engine generating 615 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in a mere 3.8-seconds, while topping out at 192 mph.
Novitec is known for tuning a host of high-end supercars, and their latest project is definitely no slouch. They took the 3,362-pound Lamborghini Aventador and immediately shed 42-pounds without using carbon fiber, thanks to a custom stainless exhaust system with actively controlled flaps to modify the V12’s tone, which still makes 759 hp and 731 lb-ft of torque.
