Warner Bros. has released the first Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga trailer, and it teases a post-apocalyptic wasteland that takes place before Fury Road. The film was produced by George Miller’s own Australian-based Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner, along with Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures.
As the world becomes a wasteland, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and lands in the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. She survives many trials as she plans to find a way back home through the Wasteland. Anya Taylor-Joy (Furiosa) stars in the title role, alongside Chris Hemsworth (Immortan Joe) and Tom Burke (Dementus). It’s set to hit theaters on May 24, 2024.
