Set to be released in China, Honda’s Lingxi L EV will come equipped with a single electric motor generating up to 215 hp. Dongfeng-Honda stated that this brand will ensure the same high quality and reliability of its parent by integrating a strong localized supply chain system.
In addition to the production Lingxi L, Dongfeng-Honda’s future models will make use of a new all-electric platform. The Lingxi L utilizes a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, has a 107.5 inch wheelbase and weighs in at 3,752 pounds. It’s set to go on sale next year, with a price that is set to compete with the Tesla Model 3, BYD Han, etc.
