Scot Burner has just set a new Guinness World Record in his C7 Corvette, but it’s not what you think. He earned the title of ‘Fastest Mile Driven in Reverse’ by smashing the previous record of 97.02-seconds and finishing in 75.18-seconds with an average speed of 45 mph as well as hitting a top speed of 54 mph.
Can a 2021 Toyota Supra 3.0 GR take on a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro LT1 in a drag racing showdown? Well, on paper, the latter would appear to have a clear advantage with its 6.2L V8 engine that makes 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic, but don’t count out the Toyota’s turbocharged 3.0L inline-6 engine generating 382 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque.

The Chevrolet Corvette C4 has an iconic look and was produced from 1983 until 1996. One owner decided to modify his 1989 Chevy Corvette with parts from 10 different vehicles to give it a Cyberpunk-inspired look, making it nearly unrecognizable at first glance.
Competition Carbon is planning to make a big splash at SEMA 2022 with their C120R, a Corvette C8-based supercar with looks inspired by the Cadillac Cien. The name was chosen due to it being Cadillac’s 120th anniversary next year.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.5L LT6 V8 engine making 670 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is able to hit 60 mph in a mere 2.6-seconds. This puts the vehicle on par with many supercars, and it’s expected to retail at under $100,000 USD.
