An extremely rare 1999 R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec in Midnight Purple II recently sold for $220,000 USD on Bring a Trailer, and this isn’t a vehicle located in Japan, but rather one already stateside. Only 282 examples were finished in this color from the factory, and this particular vehicle has 95,000-miles on the odometer after being imported in 2022.
What sets the V-Spec apart from the standard R34 Skyline GT-R? It comes equipped with a front splitter, xenon headlights, side marker lamps, a rear window wiper, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, a rear wing, and an aluminum hood. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 2.6L RB26DETT inline-six engine making 276 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. More information here.
