Toyota Supra vs Chevrolet Camaro LT1 Drag Racing
Can a 2021 Toyota Supra 3.0 GR take on a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro LT1 in a drag racing showdown? Well, on paper, the latter would appear to have a clear advantage with its 6.2L V8 engine that makes 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic, but don’t count out the Toyota’s turbocharged 3.0L inline-6 engine generating 382 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque.

Starting off with a standard drag race, the Camaro seems to have traction problems, which means the Supra has a clear advantage. The next race had the Camaro getting off the line quickly, although the Supra did put up one heck of a fight. Last, but not least, the two cars attempt to see who is the fastest with a rolling 32 mph start. Let’s just say that despite the power differences, both vehicles can definitely hold their own in a head-to-head matchup.
