Qworkntine Work Pod

Called ‘Qworkntine’, these modular work pods are designed to help employees safely return to the workplace as lockdown measures ease over the coming months. Each one contains an airtight seal and just enough space to get everything done. For security purposes, each employee is authenticated with facial recognition technology, thus eliminating the need for a door handle.

Lilypad Floating Home
Lilypad Floating Villa, located the coast of Australia’s Palm Beach, is a luxurious living space that makes it easy to social distance. Featuring a minimalist aesthetic, it boasts an outdoor deck with a dining area, loft bedroom, full bathroom, and plenty of storage space. There’s enough room to comfortably sleep two adults, or up to six if some are willing to take the couch.

The Whale Visitor Center

Set to open in 2022, Dorte Mandrup’s new visitor center in northern Norway, called The Whale, seamlessly blends into the landscape like a small rocky hill. This would be a prime spot for whale watching during their migration. It was designed in partnership with Marianne Levinsen Landskab, JAC Studios, Thornton Tomasetti, Nils Øien and Anders Kold. The structure will be 186-miles north of the Arctic Circle.

Lilypad Floating Villa
Created by Australia-based designer and boat enthusiast Chuck Anderson, the Lilypad is a 100% solar-powered, floating villa in Palm Beach. As you might have already guessed, you’ll need either a small boat or sea plane to reach Lilypad, but its large outdoor terrace makes it easy to dock. Once you’re there, the large barbecue area with enough seating for 10 make it an ideal place for parties.

Clocktower Penthouse

For those who’ve always wanted to live inside a real clocktower in pure luxury, then look no further than this $6-million home in San Francisco. It’s exactly as it sounds and the 3,000-square-foot condo occupies the top four floors of the former Max Schmidt Lithography Company headquarters.
