Droog Moto E-Scrambler Electric Motorcycle
Droog Moto wanted their first foray into electric motorcycles to be a memorable one, so when a client approached them with their Brammo Empulse R, they knew right away that it had to be done. In addition to the host of carbon fiber parts as well as fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi upside down forks and a fully adjustable Sachs rear monoshock, it’s powered by a liquid-cooled Parker GVM IPM AC synchronous electric motor generating 40 kW (54 bhp / 66 lb-ft of torque), mated to a wet clutch 6-speed manual transmission.

Instead of an internal combustion motorcycle engine, the Empulse utilizes a 10.2 kWh Brammo Power BPM15/90 lithium ion pack mounted centrally in its place. Other upgrades include a new headlight plate, LED lighting front to back, and Droog Moto 1 1/8 unit handlebars fitted with a bar end mirror on the left side.

Plus, a new subframe had to be custom fabricated to be fitted with a new seat, and side covers conceal the electrical wiring to keep things clean, while a pair of beefy Continental TKC 80 tires were fitted to give it plenty of grip regardless of terrain.
