Based on the 2020 Zero DS, the DM-017 V2 E-Fighter is Droog Moto’s latest electric motorcycle, and it looks to be straight from a sci-fi movie. Its all-electric drivetrain generates 46 horsepower and 78 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to top out at 98 mph, thanks to a 7.2 kWh battery pack. When fully charged, you can travel up to 89-miles in the city or 45-miles at highway speeds. Aesthetically, the Zero DS was stripped of everything but the essentials before getting an entirely new body design.
The tank you see flowing up the main frame actually holds the speedometer and most of the electronics as well as wiring that run throughout the bike. Other features include an aluminum solid wheel setup wrapped in Bridgestone AX41 tires, a Droog Moto signature distressed tracker plate up front, a slit cut headlight and an auxiliary light bar behind the lower triple tree. Each one is built to order, with prices starting at $40,000 USD for the base model.
