The all-electric BMW M3 sedan is coming sooner than later, but for now, we’ll have to settle for teaser videos, including this new one that gives us a taste of its simulated exhaust note.
Currently, the engineering team is hunkered down in Sweden, where BMW has built a private test center in the Arctic Circle’s Arjeplog. For those who don’t want to watch the entire video, just skip to the end, where you’ll get a sneak peek inside the electric M3’s cabin during an acceleration run when simulated exhaust noises are channeled through the speakers. Apparently, it sounds like the familiar high-revving straight-six that BMW fans know oh so well.
