The Huawei Mate Xs 2 is the company’s latest foldable smartphone, and it’s definitely no slouch. Featuring a 6.5-inch AMOLED 120Hz display that expands to 7.8-inches when unfolded, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G chip, up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage, a triple rear camera system (50MP Main, 13MP Ultra-Wide, 8MP Telephoto), a front-facing 32MP selfie camera, and a 4880 mAh battery with 66W fast wired charging.
Huawei did not opt for lower-end displays as the panels boast 2480 x 2200 pixel and 2480 x 1176 pixel native resolutions respectively, complete with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. How big is the smartphone? It measures 11.1mm thick folded and 5.4mm when unfolded, which makes it still relatively pocketable. There are just two caveats: it’s only on sale in China and priced at around $1500 USD.
