The all-electric Hyundai IONIQ 5 robotaxi, which is an SAE Level 4 autonomous vehicle that can safely operate without a driver, just hit the road in two new videos. It comes equipped with over 30 sensors, including cameras, radars, and LiDAR, that provide 360° perception, high-resolution images, and ultra-long range detection of objects for safe autonomous operation.

Hyundai has just unveiled their Mobile Eccentric Droid (MobED) ahead of CES 2022 in Las Vegas next month. This is essentially an all-new and pioneering small mobility platform using cutting-edge robotics technologies that could one day be used for film shoots.
Hyundai Motor Company built its smallest EV yet, and it’s based on their ‘45’ EV concept that debuted at the 2019 at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt. The automaker’s designers took inspiration from the the signature ‘kinetic cube lamp’ design of ‘45’ and paired it with its angular, yet smooth, profile to create this yet-to-be-named EV in a sleek Performance Blue with orange accents.
Hyundai isn’t exactly synonymous with RVs or motorhomes, but their POREST – a compound word of the Hyundai ‘Porter’ and ‘rest’ – vehicle is exactly that. You’ll find the main entrance to this mini home on the right, while both sides are windows that give it greater sense of openness. For those who want some shade when camping in non-shaded areas, you could opt for a manual awning. Out back, there’s a cargo area to store chairs, tables and other equipment.
