We have entered the age of super SUVs, with the Ferrari Purosangue and Lamborghini Urus being two of the most popular. Mat Watson of CarWow wanted to see which one is faster, so he pit them against each other in a super SUV drag racing showdown.
First up, we have the 4,482 pound Ferrari Purosangue, powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine making 715 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. Next, the 4,739 pound Lamborghini Urus draws power from a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine generating 657 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that helps it hit 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds. We won’t ruin the races for you, but will say that they are very evenly matched.
