Set to hit showrooms this Fall, the 2020 Toyota 86 Hakone Edition pays tribute to Japan’s most iconic driving roads known as the Hakone Skyline, and the standard six-speed manual model will be priced from $29,630 – the six-speed automatic will add another $720 onto the MSRP. What sets this apart from the standard model begins outside with an exclusive Hakone Green paint job, sleek 17-inch bronze wheels, and a black lip spoiler.
Inside, you’ll find black-and-tan Alcantara seats with contrast stitching, a special steering wheel, dash, and emergency brake lever. As for the engine, the Toyota 86 Hakone Edition is powered by the same 2.0-liter engine used in other 86 models generating 205 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque with the 6-speed manual, and 200 hp and 151 lb-ft using the automatic, all sent to the rear wheels.
