2026 Nissan Z Heritage Edition 300ZX
The Z lineage has a long history dating back to 1969 with the first 240Z and has evolved through decades of driver-focused sports cars. The 2026 Nissan Z Heritage Edition, shown at the 38th annual ZCON in Nashville, draws from that heritage, channeling the bold spirit of the 1990s 300ZX—known to enthusiasts as the Z32—while having the performance as well as polish of a modern car.

Starting with the classic Midnight Purple color from the legendary R34 GT-R and lightweight bronze 19-inch RAYS wheels, the car sits with an aggressive yet elegant stance. The bronze theme continues with “Twin Turbo” graphics cut into the body sides, a nod to the Z32’s turbocharged days. A carbon-fiber rear spoiler with a retro-styled “Twin Turbo” logo on top and a Heritage Edition crest below the greenhouse makes it unique.

The Heritage Edition is based on the Z Performance trim and has a utilitarian but tasteful interior. It has unique door kick plates and floor mats but the real draw is the existing Performance-grade setup: leather and suede seats that grip you through corners, 9-inch infotainment screen with GPS navigation, and an 8-speaker Bose audio system that fills the space with sound. Aluminum sport pedals and a digital instrument cluster makes it driver-centric, HomeLink integration adds some everyday utility. The dashboard with three gauges for turbo boost, turbine speed and battery voltage is a nod to the original Z’s purposeful design, keeping the driver connected to the car’s mechanical heartbeat.

Power comes from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 making 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. It’s a motor that feels alive, eager to rev to 6,400 rpm. You can pair it with a 6-speed manual for purists who want to row their own gears or a 9-speed automatic with shift paddles for those who want a smoother, quicker shifting experience.

The price seals the deal, as the Heritage Edition package adds $2,940 to the Z Performance’s base price of $52,970 making it $55,910 before the $1,245 shipping fee. For that you get a car that’s not only looks good but also a value in a market where special editions usually command outrageous prices. The larger 2026 Z lineup remains unchanged, the base Sport starts at $42,970 and the top-of-the-line NISMO at $65,750, both unchanged from last year except for a small increase in delivery fees.
