Slovenia-based Adria unveils their latest project, and it’s the Astella. Think of this as a tiny house on wheels that can easily be transported between different campsites, or set up permanently along a lake should you so desire. The company didn’t want to base it on a regular caravan, but rather built the Astella from the ground up as a luxurious home that goes anywhere.
Just tow the stretched rectangular trailer, set it up, and enter through the beautiful panoramic French doors that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living spaces. The chassis is made from composite wood inside and polyester outside, with foam insulation in-between, while the floor is reinforced with a hardwood frame. Double-glazed windows built from a special ruggedized acrylic ensure to keep noise to a minimum.
Inside, there’s enough room to sleep four adults comfortably, thanks to a convertible sofa that opens up to reveal an extra bed, and the rear bedroom includes transverse spring bed, plenty of storage cabinets as well as nightstands. Plus, t here’s even a dry bathroom divided into a port toilet room and starboard shower, just like you’d find at boutique hotels.
The main living area doubles as a TV room, complete with an L-shaped couch. If you’re feeling a bit hungry the expanded kitchen right next to it offers a dual-burner stove, sink, Corian countertops, a full cutting board worktop, and the most important thing, a refrigerator / freezer.
As for technology, you’ll find a Wi-Fi hotspot and an optional Adria MACH (Mobile Artificial-intelligence Communication Hardware) mobile app that enables you to remotely control / monitor lighting, onboard climate, the battery, water and even gas from just about anywhere.
How much will this luxury cost you? Pricing starts at $61,000 USD for the base 704 HP model and tops out at $67,000 USD for the 904 HP. However, going crazy with the options will raise those prices substantially.
