Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) knows that most 2020 C8 Corvette owners will be satisfied with its power and handling, but for the few that aren’t, they’re offering 1200 hp packages with a custom twin turbo system that will include a specially built LT2 V8 engine with upgraded engine internals. Some of these upgrades include forged aluminum pistons (10.0:1 compression ratio), forged steel connecting rods, and a fortified factory dual clutch transmission.
Besides the engine, HPE also plans to offer its signature CarbonAero carbon fiber body upgrades – front splitter, airdam and rear carbon fiber wing. You can also opt for a full Brembo brake system upgrade, an adjustable Penske suspension as well as wheel and tire upgrades.
