At first glance, this Honda Odyssey looks like a minivan you’d probably find in a zombie film, but it’s actually hiding a Tesla Model S Plaid powertrain. Called the Plaidessy, the process isn’t as straightforward as you may think, since they actually placed the Odyssey’s body atop a Model S.
After destroying several donor cars, they finally managed to fuse the Odyssey body onto a real Tesla Model S Plaid chassis after cutting away the minivan’s floor. The completed build will most likely have fresh paint, a properly working air suspension, have rear seats, and just polish up the interior so that it looks somewhat comfortable. Considering the three electric motors produce 1,020 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque, we have a feeling that keeping the sleeper look would be the best way to go.
