Think of the MINI Spaceman as an electrified, modern version of the original MINI Cooper that debuted in September 1961. The former boasts full autonomy and a single seat up front, while two seats in the rear allow you to get work done or just relax on a hot day. Want a place to sit while it’s charging? Just pull down the hatch door and you’ve got a bench to sit on.
No specifications were detailed by its designer Leif Mortz, although it should be more powerful than the 2023 MINI Cooper SE electric hardtop, which has a single electric motor generating 181 hp and 199 lb-ft or torque, good for a 0-60 mph time of 6.9-seconds. The MINI Spaceman’s range should be at least comparable to the 110-miles of the Cooper SE, complete with 50 kW quick charge capability.
