Always wanted to stay in a decommissioned Boeing 737 jumbo jet? Well, soon you’ll be able to do it in pure luxury at the Private Jet Villa by Hanging Gardens Air. It is being built by entrepreneur Felix Demin who purchased the aircraft from former Indonesian airline Mandala Air. He has been working on it since 2021 and could be months away from opening up the villa in Bali.
One night will set you back around $7,300 USD, and after seeing what went into building the Private Jet Villa, you’ll realize what it costs as much as a first class suite aboard a modern jumbo jet. All of the original 737 seats and flying instruments were removed to make room for two bedrooms, a terrace, a full bathroom, complete with stone tub, as well as an infinity pool outside overlooking the Indian Ocean. The villa does come complete with all of the modern amenities you’d expect at a 5-star resort, including high-speed WiFi, self parking, and a 24-hour concierge.
