Printers are nothing new, but the Selpic P1 is unofficially the world’s smallest handheld printer. It basically uses inkjet technology and works just like a pen, thus enabling you to print photos, barcodes, QR codes, or plain text on just about any flat surface. Despite its size, the printer can work at any angle, including horizontal / vertical orientations, and can quickly switch printing direction from left to right or vice versa.
Thanks to a built-in line break function, this device can automatically print either a single-line or across multiple lines. Or, if you want to transcribe something, just use your smartphone’s microphone with the companion app to turn your words into text. Currently, eight color cartridges are available, which is enough to print almost anything. The pen itself has a built-in 600 x 600 DPI resolution with 300 nozzles, with each one being able to eject 18 million drops per second. More information here.
