Let’s face it, even though most wireless earbuds put function over form, it’s refreshing to see a pair that think outside the box, like Sevy by designer Sathiswaran Pon. Aside from its design, it features touch gestures on the surface of the earbuds and can also be controlled with a companion app. For a better fit, Sevy is designed to fit snugly inside your ear canal, and should there be any issues, several different ear tips are included.
When not in use, the egg-shaped charging case can be used as a fidget device, while an LED in front lets you know if it’s charging. You won’t have to worry about the case falling off a table, as the entire thing is self-balancing, so as long as it’s placed on a flat surface, it should stay in place. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on pricing or availability.
- Active noise cancellation for immersive sound
- Transparency mode for hearing and connecting with the world around you

I was trying to create something which is fun to use and simple in nature. By making the design/product familiar to the user, the product wholly connects with their activity of living the events. Mimicking plays a major role in this part. So, this project is inspired by the natural form which is more simple and important,” said Pon.
