Stone Offroad Design SOD Rise 4x4 Expedition Vehicle
Germany-based Stone Offroad Design’s SOD Rise 4×4 just might be the most luxurious expedition vehicle yet, but it comes at a hefty price, $1-million USD or so. It’s based on the Mercedes-Benz Unimog U5032 truck, complete with a removable camper module that is basically a tiny home on wheels.

Once you step inside, there’s a large lounge area that includes a full kitchenette with refrigerator, four-burner induction stove, an oven, as well as a sink. Why is there an angled door? It hides a full bathroom, making living on the road more comfortable than ever. As for sleeping areas, there’s a main bedroom above the cab area, while a small pop-up roof adds an additional bed. Power is taken care of by a 400-Ah lithium-ion battery pack that draws power from an 840 watt of solar system. It boasts a 106-gallon fresh water tank and also has 40 gallons of gray water.
