If you’re not familiar with Iron Patriot, it’s basically a powered exoskeleton combat suit used by several characters, an amalgam of Iron Man’s armor and Captain America’s patriotism. This armor gives its wearer superhuman strength, enhanced durability, flight, magnetic impact blasts, heat seeking missiles, miniaturized lasers, flamethrowers, and even a communications system housed in the helmet which allowed the suit to interface with any U.S.-controlled satellite or computer network.

You’ve probably seen many of these landmarks around the world, but Italian artist Pietro Cataudella decided to put a personal touch by seamlessly blending illustrations from his sketchbook in with real-life scenes. His ongoing project, titled “CityLiveSketch,” features scenes like this one, with the Infinity Gauntlet being worn by the Pisa Tower in Italy. The artist is originally from Sicily, but now lives in Pisa, Tuscany, and the aim of this project is “to showcase the beautiful world surrounding us, both the iconic places and the most characteristic views, using not only simple photos but also drawings made on a normal travel sketchbook”. Hasbro is set to release a 1:1 scale replica of Captain America’s shield prop as part of the Marvel 80th anniversary lineup. This stunning piece features a glossy, comic book-inspired paint job whereas the previous version looked more metallic, like in the movies. It may not be made of real Vibranium, but it does measure 24-inches in diameter and comes equipped with adjustable straps to enable you to wear it on your arm just like Steve Rogers, minus the super strength.
