Hot Toys has revealed the “Proof That Tony Stark Has a Heart” Arc Reactor, the very first one he created to keep himself alive and to also power his first suit of armor in ‘Iron Man’. It supplies energy to an electromagnet, which prevents embedded shrapnel from reaching his heart. This “Life-Size Masterpiece Series” Arc Reactor was apparently given by Tony’s personal assistant Pepper as a desktop ornament.
Each one is painstakingly crafted with authentic and screen-accurate details, and the Arc Reactor stands approximately 16cm in height. It features a diecast design, has lots of copper wire material, and features two LED lighting modes, which include light-on effect and breathing light effect, a multi-layered metallic paint job, a ring engraved with the words “Proof That Tony Stark Has A Heart” as seen in the movie, as well as a specially designed custom display case.
Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on pricing or availability. However, there are rumors that it will launch some time in the second or third quarter of 2020.
