Set for release on March 13th is a special edition Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing-themed system, priced at $299.99. The device itself takes design inspiration from the new game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and comes with pastel green / blue Joy-Con controllers that are white on the back, white wrist straps and a white Nintendo Switch dock filled with images of recognizable characters.
My Arcade officially announced this week that their new handheld Retro Champ game console is now available. Unlike other portable game consoles, this one actually plays both NES and Famicom cartridges, complete with a built-in 7” screen that can also be output to a modern TV using HDMI out. This means g amers can test out cartridges on-the-go or simply enjoy the classic couch-side experience by connecting it to an HDTV and pairing it with up to two Super GamePad wireless controllers.

Nintendo Co. Ltd. filed a patent for a ‘touch pen attachment, controller system and game system’ on June 4, 2019 with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office), and this filing was just published last week (January 16, 2020). Unlike the recently released stylus, this the new touch pen is considerably shorter, but has the same exact length as a Joy-Con and can be connected to the controller with a slide movement.

Nintendo TOKYO is set to open on November 22nd in Shibuya PARCO shopping center on the sixth floor and it will be the company’s first store in Japan.
