Liberty Walk has officially completed the first full car in its Final Edition series for the Nissan GT-R, a showpiece that captures everything enthusiasts loved about the model right up until production halted last August. Owariasahi, a Japanese tuner, gave the R35 generation a widebody treatment that reimagined all of the aspects that made the GT-R so popular.

Fans of Japanese sports cars can undoubtedly relate to the sense of missing out. For decades, many people have had a soft spot for the Nissan Silvia. It was the car that appeared, provided sharp handling and a great deal of rear-wheel drive enjoyment, and then vanished after 2002. A new depiction of the car has emerged, with the envisioned S16 model joining its six predecessors in an ultra clean studio scene.

A 2017 Nissan GT-R with 1,650 horsepower to the wheels has transformed the well-known Godzilla into a wild beast on public roads. This significantly tuned R35 recently appeared in a brief video from Dragy Motorsports, and a look at the data panel shows that the car absolutely rockets, traveling from 60 to 130 mph in just 3.11 seconds and from 100 to 150 mph in a whopping 2.59 seconds. That kind of roll-on acceleration would cast a long shadow over certain modern hypercars, despite the GT-R’s limited factory output at launch.
