
Xiaomi has entered the extended-range electric vehicle segment with the SkyNomad N90, a large three-row SUV that doubles as flexible living space. The model launches under a fresh Sky Nomad sub-brand and gives buyers a boxy, upright shape built on the new Kunlun architecture. Reservations opened in early July with a planned launch by the end of the third quarter.

Xiaomi sent its new YU7 GT around the Nordschleife and walked away with a lap time of 7 minutes 34.931 seconds. That run beat the Audi RS Q8 Performance by almost two seconds and left the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Coupé behind as well.

We know the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is currently the fastest electric sedan, but one owner pushed the EV a little too hard at the track, and a crash promptly ensued.
