Tom Cruise drifts through the streets of Rome in this latest Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One behind-the-scenes featurette. Handcuffed together with Hailey Atwell who plays Grace, they try to evade both villains and the police in the chaos that is Roman traffic drifting a BMW 5 Series using only his right hand.
Even missing all of its doors, Tom Cruise who plays Ethan Hunt, manages to evade the bad guys and at one point, this requires ditching the BMW 5 Series and hopping into another car. More specifically, a Fiat 500 that pays homage to Roger Moore’s Citroen 2CV in ‘For Your Eyes Only’. Why/ Ethan Hunt has to track down a terrifying weapon that threatens humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. The movie hits theaters on July 12, 2023.
