Not just any roadster, this one boasts an electrochromic (smart glass) window that can instantly be transformed from clear to opaque at the press of a button on the central infotainment screen, thanks to Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology. As for the roof, it features excellent thermal insulation and can be opened or closed in just 12 seconds. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine making 621 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling it to hit 62 mph in a mere 3.0-seconds, while topping out at over 199 mph. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but the MC20 coupé retails at $216,995 USD.
