This sleeper of a vehicle is said to make an eye watering 898 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, mated to a five-speed sequential transmission that sends power to all wheels, thanks to the 4Motion VW AWD system. Let’s just say that its 10.07 second quarter mile run at 148.7 mph is fast enough to take on several supercars, like the Porsche 911 Turbo S, that cost several times more than any Volkswagen Golf, modified or not.
