Hyundai IONIQ 5 N Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Two Hyundai IONIQ 5 N vehicles are set to compete at the 102nd running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) on June 23, 2024. They will participate in the Electric Production SUV/Crossover category as part of a four-car effort.

Paul Dallenbach, an eleven-time PPIHC winner, and Ron Zaras, a PPIHC rookie, are set to pilot the two IONIQ 5 Ns. Power for the IONIQ 5 N comes from a dual electric motor setup that generates a combined 601 hp and 545 lb-ft of torque. Everything will be factory equipment, aside from the red paint, which will be swapped with a new eye-catching Hyundai N livery.

We are returning to the mountain stronger than we have left it, with a class leading electric SUV in the form of IONIQ 5 N. Hyundai has a history of proving new technologies and products at Pikes Peak going all the way back to 1992 and the IONIQ 5 N brings that concept to high performance electric cars. The production spec IONIQ 5 N will demonstrate what customers can expect from their vehicles,” said Till Wartenberg, head of N Brand and Motorsport.
