ASKA eVTOL Electric Flying Car
NFT Inc announced today that it is now accepting pre-orders for ASKA, the first electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle designed for consumers. Should you want to see one of these flying cars in person, visit their showroom in Los Altos, the heart of Silicon Valley. This four-seater can be driven on the road like a car, but is also capable of vertical takeoff / landing (VTOL), short takeoff / landing (STOL), and flying just like a standard aircraft.

The first model is estimated to have a flight range of up to 250 miles, all powered by electric motors and equipped with a range extender as a redundant safety system. Its full electric system architecture allows future models to convert range extenders to any other energy source such as hydrogen. When not in the sky, the ASKA is approximately the size of a normal SUV in drive mode. How much will one of these set you back? Well, it costs $789,000 for the special limited edition model, with pre-orders requiring a $5,000 deposit to secure their place on the list.

We have focused significantly on ASKA’s safety elements, which include dual energy sources, large wings, large propellers, 6 pack of batteries to ensure ASKA is as safe in the air as it is on the ground. We anticipate that flying cars that are accessible to the general public will be as instrumental in re-defining how and where we live, as the original automobile was to the foundation of our country’s highway and road systems. To build a better society and a better economy, we need better transportation solutions, and flying cars will be a part of that equation,” said Maki Kaplinsky, Co-founder & Chair/COO, NFT Inc.
