We have seen the future of EVs, and it includes the BMW i Vision Dee (Digital Emotional Experience). Revealed at CES 2023, this futuristic concept features E-Ink technology on its outer skin that can display up to 32 colors at the push of a button and in various patterns to boot. How? The exterior is divided into 240 E Ink segments, each of which is controlled individually.
These segments mean that you can configure it an almost infinite variety of ways within seconds. It also has an advanced Head-Up-Display capable of projecting across the entire width of the windscreen to show information on the largest possible surface. On the outside, you’ll find the iconic BMW kidney grille, twin circular headlights and the Hofmeister kink, but with a futuristic twist. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability.
