Can a modified BMW M2 Coupe, called the MANHART MH2 GTR II, beat a MH3 650 Touring in a drag racing showdown? There’s no clear cut answer, but we can say that the race is closer than you think.
First up, the MH2 GTR II is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine that has been boosted to 705 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, mated to a ZF 8HP torque-converter automatic transmission. Next, the MH3 650 Touring is also powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine, but one that makes 641 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. One caveat: the latter is only available in certain European markets, as well as Australian and New Zealand, priced from around $115,000 USD.
