On paper, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, NISMO GT-R and BMW M5 CS may not look equal for a drag racing showdown, but Carwow recently pit all three together for just that. For starters, the only supercar in the group is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 making 770 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed single-clutch manual transmission.
The Nissan GT-R NISMO packs a twin-turbocharged 3.8L V6 generating 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox that sends power to all wheels. Lastly, the BMW M5 CS sports a twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8 engine producing 635 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox sending power to all wheels. Let’s just say that at least two of the three runs may surprise you.
