The 2025 BYD Seal 06 GT is now official, and it will take on the Volkswagen ID.3 in China. Available in two variants, the single motor variant has 214 horsepower, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive generates 415 horsepower.
As for batteries, the single-motor variant sports a 59.52 kilowatt-hour battery good for 313-miles of range, while higher-spec versions get a 72.96 kWh pack that should get around 375-miles on a full charge. All Seal 06 GT models are built on BYD’s 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform and can be charged from 30% to 80% in a mere 20 minutes. Reservations are being accepted now, with pricing starting at just over $21,000 USD.
